In nature, the Smilax plant is dense and thick, with thorny branches that make it difficult to trim; it’s grown in tropical and subtropical climates. Our Smilax tree is full, but compact enough so it won’t overcrowd a space. Its branches are lifelike but thorn-free, laden with perfectly shaped leaves.
