The Borough Tables are great examples of how modern design can be interpreted with a truly industrial feel. The table bases are made of square metal tubing featuring an antiqued dark zinc finish. There is great depth as hand burnishing reveals a blend of lighter and warmer tones visible on the metal finish.
The top of each Borough table is set in approximately ¼” from the table base. This offset allows for expansion and contraction that wood experiences in response to climatic changes. Thus, in warmer, more humid times when the wood top will expand slightly, it will not project out too far from the base.
